I’m a research assistant professor at CIERA at Northwestern, where I work on the lives and deaths of massive stars: their variability, mass loss, explosions, and compact remnants. I run optical and infrared time-domain programs with telescopes in Arizona, Hawaii, and Chile to find and follow these events in the local Universe.

I’m interested in supernovae and their progenitors, gravitational wave astronomy, and fast radio bursts and work on transients and stars across the electromagnetic spectrum, including through the Young Supernova Experiment, the Multi-Messenger Treasure TROVE collaboration (PI), the S-PLUS Transient Extension Program (STEP), and the F4 Collaboration. I am a SkAI affiliate. I was a CIERA postdoc from 2020–2023 and joined the faculty in 2023.
